महर्षीणां भृगुरहं गिरामस्म्येकमक्षरम् | यज्ञानां जपयज्ञोऽस्मि स्थावराणां हिमालयः ||१०-२५||
maharṣīṇāṃ bhṛgurahaṃ girāmasmyekamakṣaram . yajñānāṃ japayajño.asmi sthāvarāṇāṃ himālayaḥ ||10-25||
English Meaning
English Meaning
Among the great sages I am Bhrigu; among words I am the one syllable (Om); among sacrifices I am the sacrifice of silent repetition; among the immovable things I am the Himalayas.
Hindi Meaning
मैं महर्षियों में भृगु और वाणी (शब्दों) में एकाक्षर ओंकार हूँ। मैं यज्ञों में जपयज्ञ और स्थावरों (अचलों) में हिमालय हूँ।।
Russian Meaning
Среди великих мудрецов я — Бхригу; среди слов Я — один слог (Ом); среди жертв я — жертва молчаливого повторения; среди недвижимого Я — Гималаи.
Spanish Meaning
Entre los grandes sabios soy Bhrigu; entre las palabras soy la única sílaba (Om); entre los sacrificios soy el sacrificio de la repetición silenciosa; entre las cosas inamovibles estoy el Himalaya.
Commentary
Manu has said Whatever else the Brahmana may or may not do? he attains salvation by Japa (silent repetition of a Mantra) alone.Bhrigu is one of the mindborn of the Creator.Himalaya The highest mountain range in the world.Japayajna There is neither injury nor loss in this Yajna. Therefore? it is regarded as the best of all Yajnas.
