किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्तं इच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव | तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते ||११-४६||
kirīṭinaṃ gadinaṃ cakrahastaṃ icchāmi tvāṃ draṣṭumahaṃ tathaiva . tenaiva rūpeṇa caturbhujena sahasrabāho bhava viśvamūrte ||11-46||
English Meaning
English Meaning
I desire to see Thee as before, crowned, bearing a mace, with the discus in hand, in Thy former form only, having four arms, O thousand-armed, Cosmic Form (Being).
Hindi Meaning
मैं आपको उसी प्रकार मुकुटधारी, गदा और चक्र हाथ में लिए हुए देखना चाहता हूँ। हे विश्वमूर्ते! हे सहस्रबाहो! आप उस चतुर्भुजरूप के ही बन जाइए।।
Russian Meaning
Я желаю увидеть Тебя, как прежде, увенчанного короной, с булавой в руке, с диском в руке, только в Твоей прежней форме, с четырьмя руками, о тысячерукая, Космическая Форма (Существо).
Spanish Meaning
Deseo verte como antes, coronado, portando una maza, con el disco en la mano, en Tu forma anterior únicamente, con cuatro brazos, oh Forma (Ser) Cósmica de mil brazos.
Commentary
Arjuna says O Lord in the Cosmic Form I do not know where to turn and to whom to address myself. I am frightened. I am longing to see Thee with conch? discus? mace and lotus. Withdraw Thy Cosmic Form. Assume that same fourarmed form as before.Spiritual aspirants are ofen impatient to have the highest spiritual experiences immediately they begin their Sadhana. This is wrong. They will not be able to withstand the great power that will,surge into them. Be patientO thousandarmed refers to the Cosmic Form.
