विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः | निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः स शान्तिमधिगच्छति ||२-७१||
vihāya kāmānyaḥ sarvānpumāṃścarati niḥspṛhaḥ . nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ sa śāntimadhigacchati ||2-71||
English Meaning
English Meaning
That man attains peace who, abandoning all desires, moves about without longing, without the sense of mine and without egoism.
Hindi Meaning
जो पुरुष सब कामनाओं को त्यागकर स्पृहारहित? ममभाव रहित और निरहंकार हुआ विचरण करता है? वह शान्ति प्राप्त करता है।।
Russian Meaning
Покой достигает тот человек, кто, оставив все желания, движется без стремления, без чувства своего и без эгоизма.
Spanish Meaning
Alcanza la paz aquel hombre que, abandonando todos los deseos, se mueve sin añoranza, sin sentido de lo mío y sin egoísmo.
Commentary
That man who lives destitute of longing? abandoning all desires? without the senses of I and mine? who is satisfied with the bare necessities of life? who does not care even for those bare necessities of life? who has no attachment even for the bare necessities of life? attains Moksha or eternal peace. (Cf.II.55).
