इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते | एतैर्विमोहयत्येष ज्ञानमावृत्य देहिनम् ||३-४०||
indriyāṇi mano buddhirasyādhiṣṭhānamucyate . etairvimohayatyeṣa jñānamāvṛtya dehinam ||3-40||
English Meaning
English Meaning
The senses, the mind and the intellect are said to be its seat; through these it deludes the embodied by veiling his wisdom.
Hindi Meaning
इन्द्रियाँ, मन और बुद्धि इसके निवास स्थान कहे जाते हैं; यह काम इनके द्वारा ही ज्ञान को आच्छादित करके देही पुरुष को मोहित करता है।।
Russian Meaning
. Говорят, что чувства, ум и интеллект являются его вместилищем; через них оно вводит в заблуждение воплощенного, скрывая его мудрость.
Spanish Meaning
Se dice que los sentidos, la mente y el intelecto son su asiento; a través de ellos engaña al encarnado velando su sabiduría.
Commentary
If the abode of the enemy is known it is ite easy to kill him. So Lord Krishna like a wise army general points out to Arjuna the abode of desire so that he may be able to attack it and kill it ite readily.
